What these are

MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) is the serial interface that links a vending controller to its bill validator, coin changer and cashless reader. These assemblies carry that bus, together with the power and ground the peripheral needs, on the connector pattern your machine was built with.

Typical uses

• Replacing a damaged or brittle loom during a machine rebuild.
• Adapting a peripheral to a controller that uses a different connector.
• Extending a run that is too short after a retrofit or a cabinet change.

What we need to quote one

• The connector at each end, or a photograph of the plug you are replacing.
