MIL-style circular connectors: 21 circular connectors in the MIL-DTL-5015 / MIL-DTL-26482 style envelope, for industrial use, in shell sizes 8 through 24 with 4 to 32 contacts, supplied under Micro-Ray part numbers.

What is in this range

• MS3116 straight plugs, cable clamp — 11 parts, shell sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24, with 4 to 32 pin or socket contacts. The cable clamp backshell takes the strain for rugged field wiring.
• MS3112 box mount receptacles — 10 parts, shell sizes 10 through 24, with 5 to 28 contacts, most carrying PCB solder-tail contacts for panel-mounted boards.

Shell size and coupling thread

Each shell size carries its own coupling thread: 5/8-24 UNEF on shell 8, 3/4-20 UNEF on 10, 13/16-20 UNEF on 12, 7/8-20 UNEF on 14, 1-20 UNEF on 16, 1-1/16-18 UNEF on 18, 1-3/16-18 UNEF on 20, 1-5/16-18 UNEF on 22 and 1-7/16-18 UNEF on 24. A plug and a receptacle mate when shell size, insert arrangement and contact gender all match; each part page lists all three.
