Specialty

Techflex specialty sleeving is the part of the range built for one job each: carbon fibre and metallised braid for appearance, retroreflective braid for visibility, noise reducing braid for cabin and studio work, cotton and ultra fine nylon for delicate runs, and the floor and HVAC wraps. Micro-Ray is an authorized Techflex distributor and all 119 parts below are listed under Techflex’s own part numbers.

Appearance and finish

• Carbon Fiber in three weights – Light (CAL), Medium (CAN) and Heavy (CAH), 1/4 in to 3 in.
• Flexo Chrome (CHN) and Flexo Chrome XC (CXN) – metallised braid, 1/4 in to 1 1/2 in.
• Flexo Mylar (MYN, MYE) – metallised polyester braid in the small sizes.

Visibility and acoustics

• Flexo Reflex (RFN) and F6 Reflex (F6R) – retroreflective braid, expandable and split.
• Flexo Noise Reduction (NRN) and F6 Quiet (F6Q) – noise reducing braid for cabin, studio and vehicle interiors, expandable and split.
• Studio Key Wrap (SKN) – chroma key cable wrap for studio floors.

Nylon, cotton and fine sizes

• Nylon Multi (NMN) – multifilament nylon braid, 3/32 in to 3 in.
• Nylon Mono (NYN) – monofilament nylon braid, 1/8 in to 2 in.
• Cotton Sleeving (CTN) – cotton braid, 1/8 in to 1 in.
• Flexo Thin (FTN) – ultra fine nylon braid from 1/16 in, and Flexo 6 Mil (FFN) filtration sleeving.

Floor, HVAC and terminations

• Dura Race (DRN) – floor cable sleeving for temporary runs across walkways.
• Dura HVAC Foam Protective Wrap (FPW) – line set wrap, 1 1/2 in to 4 1/2 in.
• F6 Flat (F6Z) self-closing flat wrap, Flexo Non-Skid, and the Flexo Mounting System (FMS) termination flanges that finish a sleeved run at a panel.

Choosing and ordering

Each part page carries the size, the material and the colour as Techflex publishes them. Cut braided sleeving with a hot knife so it seals as it is cut; the wrap products can be cut with scissors.
