What is in this range

• Label Tapes – 131 parts. The core consumable, in the standard cartridge widths and in vinyl, polyester, fluorescent and clear materials.
• Industrial Printers – 30 parts. Handheld and desktop label printers, including the models that print heat-shrink tube and self-laminating wire wraps.
• Heat-Shrink Tube – 24 parts. Printable shrink tube cartridges for permanent wire and cable marking that cannot fall off or be peeled.
• Magnet Tape – 21 parts. Printable magnetic tape for bin, rack and shelf labels that have to be moved and re-used.
• Printer Accessories – 19 parts. Batteries, adapters, cutter blades, cases and the cables that connect a printer to a PC.
• Self-Laminating and Wire Wrap Labels – 8 parts. Wrap-and-seal labels where a clear tail covers the print, for cables that get handled.
• Die-Cut Labels – 3 parts. Pre-cut label stock for asset and faceplate marking at a fixed size.

Choosing a tape

• Width has to match the printer. A printer takes a stated range of cartridge widths and a wider tape will not load.
• Material follows the job. Vinyl flexes around a cable; polyester stays put on a flat panel; shrink tube is the one that survives being pulled through a loom.
• Adhesive. Standard adhesive is for clean, flat, indoor surfaces; the stronger grades are for textured, oily or cold surfaces.
• Colour is specified as print on background – black on yellow and black on white are the usual panel and cable choices.
