The MR-964402 is a top-entry modular jack for mounting on a printed circuit board.
Top entry means the mating plug enters from above the board rather than across the board edge. That suits designs where the port faces the top face of the enclosure, and designs where the board edge is already committed to other connectors.
This variant is supplied with a shielded body.
